Helping  YOUNG people affected by cancer, disabilities and life limiting illnesses

Registered charity No. 1148965

The Liam Fairhurst Foundation was set up in memory of Liam who died in 2009 at the age of 14 yrs old from cancer.

During his treatment Liam raised over £350,000 to support other children going through similar journeys as his own. His family decided to continue his legacy and ensure his name lived on through their work.

The Foundation sets out to assist children and their families, affected by cancer, disabilities and life limiting illnesses.

We do this by providing grants and supporting projects that in turn support the families. We are in the unique position of having seen through our own experiences with Liam the difficulties that families face and therefore often appreciate what is needed to help them.

We pride ourselves on being a small charity with a big heart.
